opening quote

Fergal Devitt, Professional WrestlerThrough the ‘Check Me Out’ campaign, we have used the tattoos as a simple way of advertising our project, while using it as a very interactive way for people to show their support for our cause. We have sent them out to a lot of celebrities in the hope that they will take the 2 minutes to place the tattoo of our campaign logo on themselves and then ‘tweet’ their picture, therefore broadening our audience and spreading the awareness in a very cost efficient manner. We have also handed them out through communities and local businesses so as anybody can become part of what we aim to make an Cancer Awareness ‘trend’. These tattoos were extremely well received last year, and this year they will act as an original way of getting the attention of the younger generation that our campaign aims to reach.
